Conservatives
 
  • There needs to be much more constructive leadership and stronger relationships with local businesses, potential inward investors and those public sector bodies that can make a positive contribution to the lives of people in Keighley and Ilkley, including the creation of more jobs.
  • We need an education system that equips our children to enter industry, commerce and university.

  • Kris is determined to ensure that Gordon Brown’s NHS cuts are stopped and standards in patient care at Airedale Hospital, one of the jewels in Keighley and Ilkley’s crown, driven up.
  • The pensions crisis, also created by our new Prime Minister, must be solved and elderly people properly cared for.
  • Kris has long argued that the debate over climate change must be placed at the top of everyone’s agenda.
  • He also believes that there should be a sensible but firm approach to immigration including a proper limit on numbers and fair border controls.
